Wendy Wren
Wendy Wren, based in Mid Sussex, studied Art and Graphic Design in the mid-eighties. After a career in design studios, in-house artist for national newspapers, and in education, she now focuses on her own work as an independent artist. A devoted dog owner, she creates pet portraits on request and draws inspiration for her recent paintings from her love of gardening and tropical plants especially ones at Kew gardens. Her background in design influences her contemporary, graphic style, with a strong focus on colour and composition. Wendy has exhibited at The Sussex Contemporary, Brighton’s Liberation, and Pretty Neat Galleries.
She also exhibits with The Attic Art Club twice a year in Ditchling, Lindfield’s art Trail and the annual Arts Festival Exhibition.
